Early days, on purpose
Swingles is new. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise — because the first few hundred members are the ones who set the tone for everyone who arrives after them.
Names and photos stay private until you connect. That is the whole point.
How Swingles works
Pick a username — not your real name — confirm you're over 18, and verify your email. Nothing is public yet.
Say whether you're a couple or a single, add your city, your interests and what you're open to. You choose which photos anyone can see.
Browse members near you and send a connection request. Messaging unlocks only once they accept — so your inbox stays yours.
Built for both
Swingles was built around five profile types, so a couple is a couple — one profile, both partners, both sets of preferences — and a single is never treated as an afterthought.
What's inside
Search by profile type, age, province, city and distance — plus the things that actually matter, like what people are open to.
Nobody messages you out of nowhere. A request comes first, and it is entirely yours to accept or ignore.
Keep a public set for browsing and a private set you unlock for people you trust. Uploads are watermarked automatically.
Lifestyle events and casual meet-ups around the country, with organiser details and attendee lists you control.
Group chat rooms for the wider community, and private one-to-one messages with photo sharing once you're connected.
Orientation, build, height, interests, what you're seeking — enough detail to know if there's a fit before you say hello.
Private by design
Across South Africa
Members set their own province and city, so browsing is genuinely local — whether you're in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban or Pretoria.
What it costs
No monthly subscription, no card stored, nothing that quietly renews.

Still unsure? Ask us directly — a person replies.
Yes. Creating your profile is free and you get full access for your first 69 days — no credit card, no subscription. After that it is a single R200 payment for lifetime membership.
Privacy is the default. You choose a username rather than your real name, your exact location is never shown to other members, your gallery can be kept private, and nobody can message you until you accept their connection request.
Yes — Swingles is built for couples as much as for singles. A couple shares one profile with both partners' ages and preferences, and you can register as a male and female couple, a female couple or a male couple.
No. Many members use a tasteful anonymous photo, and every uploaded image is watermarked automatically. You decide which photos are public and which stay in your private gallery.
Yes. Swingles has five profile types — female, male, couple, female couple and male couple — so singles and couples can each say exactly who they are and who they would like to meet.
Set your location when you build your profile, then filter the member browser by province, city and distance. Swingles covers all nine South African provinces, with the largest communities around Gauteng and the Western Cape.
It is an umbrella term for consenting adults — usually couples, sometimes singles — who explore relationships outside a closed monogamous pairing, always openly and with everyone's agreement. Members here range from the merely curious to the very experienced.
R200, once, for life. There is no monthly subscription and no auto-renewing card on file.
Last thing
It takes about three minutes and costs nothing. If it isn't for you, leave — no card, nothing to cancel.
