Yes. Your profile is free and stays free, from the day you join — no credit card, no trial period, nothing that expires. Free accounts send 30 direct messages a day and upload to their public gallery. A once-off R200 unlock adds unlimited messages, Private & Premium galleries, event hosting and meets.
Is Swingles safe and discreet?
Privacy is the default. You choose a username rather than your real name, your exact location is never shown to other members, your gallery can be kept private, and nobody can message you until you accept their connection request.
Can couples join Swingles together?
Yes — Swingles is built for couples as much as for singles. A couple shares one profile with both partners' ages and preferences, and you can register as a male and female couple, a female couple or a male couple.
Do I have to show my face?
No. Many members use a tasteful anonymous photo, and every uploaded image is watermarked automatically. You decide which photos are public and which stay in your private gallery.
Can single men and single women join?
Yes. Swingles has five profile types — female, male, couple, female couple and male couple — so singles and couples can each say exactly who they are and who they would like to meet.
How do I meet couples in Cape Town or Johannesburg?
Set your location when you build your profile, then filter the member browser by province, city and distance. Swingles covers all nine South African provinces, with the largest communities around Gauteng and the Western Cape.
What does the swinging lifestyle actually mean?
It is an umbrella term for consenting adults — usually couples, sometimes singles — who explore relationships outside a closed monogamous pairing, always openly and with everyone's agreement. Members here range from the merely curious to the very experienced.
